As broadband communication giant Charter Communications (Charter) prepared to move forward with its acquisition of Time Warner Cable, the company has made a major commitment to overhauling its corporate diversity practices.

On January 15, [Charter President and CEO Tom] Rutledge assembled with the President of National Action Network (NAN), the Rev. Al Sharpton; the President of the National Urban League, Marc Morial; the President of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Roger Rocha, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Mee Moua, to sign the MOU [Memorandum of Understanding].
