Our History

The Urban League of Nebraska was established in 1927 and continues its proud heritage as a catalyst for social progress, collaboration in our communities, and creative communication. We are one of more than 100 affiliates in 34 states of the National Urban League movement. After more than 75 years, we hold steadfast to our role as a unique community resource that offers direct services through programming and advocacy in Nebraska.
