The Board of Directors manages the property and affairs of the Urban League of Nebraska. Membership is intentionally diverse, representing a cross-section of community interests and leadership: race, ethnicity, faith communities, socioeconomic status and political spectrum.

Standing Committees

The Executive Committee is consists of the Board Officers and chairs of the Standing Committees.
The Development Committee develops and recommends to the Board of Directors initiatives and strategies to raise funds to help sustain the programs and enhance the quality of services provided by the organization. | CHAIR: Cydney Franklin, Seventy-Five North
The Facilities Maintenance Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors and President/CEO regarding matters impacting the organization and ensures that sufficient facility space is available to direct the programs and services of the organization. The Governance Committee ensures the makeup of the Board of Directors is diverse and that membership represents the sets of skills necessary to support the mission and goals of the organization. The Human Resources Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors and President/CEO regarding matters impacting the staff of the organization.
