Summer Credit Recovery Program
The Urban League of Nebraska Summer Credit Recovery Program provides students with an opportunity to recover credits that were not attained during the regular academic year. In conjunction with Blackburn High School and the OPS Accelere’ Program, students can recover credit in the core classes of English, Math, Science and Social Studies.
Students are provided intense academic advisement and specialized one-on-one tutoring to help complete assignments, quizzes and exams via the Omaha Public School Online Credit Recovery Program. State of Nebraska certified teachers administer enrichment, advisement and curriculum reviews for each student.
Classes are facilitated by an on-site high school advisor. During the first week of the program, each student will receive log-in information for the online curriculum. Assignments and homework can be accessed anywhere the student has an internet connection like from home or a library. However, all quizzes and exams are proctored by certified staff at the program site.
