The Community Coaches Program delivers workshops and breakout sessions centered on education, employment, and civic engagement. This unique program works in tandem with other local community agencies to help our audience engage with the community.

This program is specifically designed for at-risk and high-risk youth and young adults in an effort to help individuals stay in school or find gainful employment. See More

From meeting successful female professionals to attending motivational workshops, The “I AM” Young Ladies Conference is designed to educate and inform young women grades 7 through 12 with career and life advice. See More

This free, six-week program for high school students provides students a chance to boost their leadership and entrepreneurial capabilities through workshops, activities, and service-learning projects. See More

This unique opportunity is a 6-week program centered around careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Mathematics) and also features workshops on financial literacy, job readiness, and healthy living. See More

This day-long event is designed for African American males entering high school (9th grade) to excel in their education and set their life up for success. This summit introduces young men to community leaders and highly successful African American professionals via motivational workshops.

Through mentorship and community service opportunities, the young people of the Whitney Young Academy will be prepared with communication and decision-making skills to be future leaders within the community. See more

Excessive absenteeism and truancy can be incredibly detrimental to a student’s academic success. To combat these problems, Urban League of Nebraska created Youth Attendance Navigators to work with students ages 12-18 in middle and high school who have records of poor attendance and have been/are at risk to be reported for truancy. Urban League of Nebraska offers a wide-variety of high-quality, educationally-based after school programs for elementary and middle-school students attending Omaha Public Schools.
